Reach the boats around you.

Hailing connects you to a local net and shows nearby participants while the feature is active. Location sharing is explained before activation and stops when you leave Hailing mode.

An explicit location disclosure comes first.

With permission, Channel 16 can match your phonebook to people already on the service. Start a direct conversation without publishing your address book.

Social Weather combines recent reports into place-level signals. Verification coordinates help protect report quality while the public experience is organized around areas and clusters.

Channel 16 is designed for social communication and local awareness. It is not an emergency, distress, navigation or official weather service.

Live voiceVoice is delivered live through Agora and is not offered by Channel 16 as stored playback.
Location controlHailing location is tied to active Hailing use; Social Weather uses coordinates to verify and group reports.
Community toolsBlocking, reporting, muting and moderation help users manage unwanted interactions.

For distress or urgent safety needs, use the official channels and services appropriate to your location. Always rely on certified navigation and weather sources for operational decisions.
